Art for Seniors and Alzheimer's Patients
Our Senior and Alzheimer’s Art program was created to address the needs of the aging and Alzheimer’s community through arts education as well as participation.
Its mission is to actively involve the Alzheimer's community by providing quality arts programs, with the intent of sparking awareness by engaging them in the creative process.
The “arts,” which includes the visual arts, music, dance, theater and creative writing will be used independently and in conjunction with one another to enhance their ability to be productive and, to some degree, heal.
Alzheimer's Art Class
This class is designed to stimulate memory and motor skills by creating works of art based on personal experiences. Each month we feature a different artist, so our students have a holistic experience. Seniors learn about drumming, yoga, dance, music and art! Call TODAY and learn about the featured artist of the month.
